Mathematics is the most important part for success in the exam. Because in the 300 marks paper, Mathematics is of 150 marks. Keeping all these facts in mind, let us discuss the best book

1 The book should be according to the syllabus - Download the syllabus of Sainik School Entrance Exam and compare it with the table of contents of the book to see if the book contains all the topics of the syllabus or not and whether there are any redundant/extra topics or chapters. Sometimes a chapter is made by combining 2 or 3 topics. So check carefully.

2 The level of the syllabus of the book should be of the level of the exam question paper - If the level of the practice questions of the book is easier than the level of the questions asked last year, then the student will like the book but will not be able to solve the difficult questions of the exam.

So failure is possible. On the contrary, if the practice questions are difficult. Then the student will get nervous in preparation and will solve very few questions every day. Due to which the morale of the student will fall. For this, the book should have at least the questions of the last 20 years chapter wise. From this, the level of questions asked last year from that chapter and the practice questions of the book will be easily known.

3 How many questions should there be in each chapter-

For this, first of all see how many questions have been asked from that chapter in the last 20 years. For example, if 80 questions have been asked from a chapter in the last 20 years, then 75 to 1.00 practice questions in that chapter is the ideal situation.

4 The text of the book should be simple, concise and error-free.

5. There should be at least 5 practice sets in the book so that the students can evaluate themselves. They can increase their score by revising.

Keeping all these points in mind, Raghav Prakashan, Agra has prepared a book written by “Shri Vinod Kumar” for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination Class-6
